WASv7 migrate to WASv8551

 

Make sure the WASv7 has been already shutdown , and release all running ports , such as 9080/9443/9043 etc…

 

Startup Configure migration tool

 

Create a source for migrate , it means WASv7 profile which you wanna move

 

Pick up the WASv7

 

Pick the Source profile

 

Input WASv7 console login password

 

Set output folder and logs

 

Select target type , we need a whole new one(WASv855)

 

Set up the new profile name

 

Pick the migration of application , but unfortunately wizbank will popup error at the coming up steps . So , we will reinstall application EAR file in the migrated profile later.
