You can customize your TXSeries system by changing the following environment variables.
Region environment file
To change the environment variable for a particular region, you can set it in the environment file located at region directory. The set variable will take precedence over system environment variable.
For UNIX:
var/cics_regions/<region_name>/environment
For Windows:
<datapath_drive>\var\cics_regions\<region_name>\environment
SFS environment file
To change the environment variable for a particular SFS, you can set it in the environment file located at SFS directory. The variable set will take precedence over system environment variable.
For UNIX:
/var/cics_servers/GSD/cics/sfs/<sfs_server_name>/environment
For Windows:
<datapath_drive>var\cics_servers\SSD\cics\sfs\<sfs_server_name>\environment
PPC Gateway environment file
To change the environment variable for a particular PPC Gateway server, you can set it in the environment file located at PPC Gateway server directory. The variable set will take precedence over system environment variable.
For UNIX:
/var/cics_servers/GSD/cics/ppc/gateway/<ppc_server_name>/environment
For Windows:
<datapath_drive>var\cics_servers\GSD\cics\ppc\<ppc_server_name>\environment
SARPCD environment file
To change the environment variable for SARPCD, you can set it in the environment file located at cicsipc directory. The set variable will take precedence over system environment variable.
For UNIX:
/var/cics_servers/cicsipc/environment
